These darling cats want a new home before Christmas

Every year, the animal hospital of the animal ambulance in The Hague and Zoetermeer closes for a few days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. This means that the shelter animals will not receive visits from future owners during that period. Do you see yourself watching Christmas movies on the couch with your new animal friend? Then visit the animal shelter before Christmas to meet one of the treasures below.

Linette Eveleens from Animal Hospital and Ambulance Service The Hague explains why the placement stop is in place: “The stop is in place every year in the interest of the animals. Usually from December 23 to January 3. These days are quite stressful for people and animals. At home there are busy Christmas dinners and on New Year’s Eve the fireworks have a major impact on the animals. We wish the animals happy days and want to ensure peace and quiet.”

Cuddly butt Jorinne

Jorinne cat is 2 years old and a real sociable animal. After probably an accident, she lost her balance somewhat, but thanks to the lovely care in the hospital, she has completely recovered. The foundation is looking for a quiet and safe home for her. She can go on the balcony for some fresh air, but it must be protected with a net for her safety. Good to know: Jorinne refuses to eat chunks, but she loves wet food.

Meek Mask

3-year-old Tomcat Mask was picked up from the street after he could no longer eat due to wounds on his tongue. The employees at the animal hospital patched him up and gained his trust. In his new home, Mask has to take some time to get used to his new environment. The best way to make friends with him is to cuddle his head for a long time.
