Iltalehti’s jury found differences in the familiar Christmas boxes, which made opinions widely divided.
The Christmas box test included three Christmas boxed foods from six different manufacturers.
A potato, carrot and lantu box were chosen as the test boxes. At the end of the test, there was a little good-natured but emphatic discussion about whether the liver box should also have been included in the test.
The box manufacturers were Kokkikartano, Lidl, Pirkka, Saarioinen, Atria and Kymppi.
The board members were the leading expert Niina Silander From Marttaliito, Target Manager Vesa Harjueditor Liisa Lahti and editor Katariina Lehtkanto.
Regarding some of the boxes, the members of the Raati quite agreed, in some areas the opinions were sharply divided.
The jury was asked to pay attention to, among other things, the box’s mouth feel, spices and recognizability. Points could be given from one to five.
