These are all start times of the team time trial: Burgos opens Vuelta, Jumbo-Visma closes | Vuelta in Utrecht

With the small Spanish cycling team Burgos-BH on the starting podium in Utrecht, the Tour of Spain starts on Friday at 6.30 pm. The team, with the Dutchman Jetse Bol, is the first to take action in the team time trial, the first part of a Dutch triptych in the Vuelta.

Cycling game!
The Vuelta a España starts on Friday 19 August with the Gran Salida in Utrecht with a team time trial. The second and third stage also take place on Dutch soil, after which the peloton descends to Asturias and the Sierra Nevada in the deep south of Spain. Join our Vuelta game and win great prizes!

Jumbo-Visma, the team with the winner of the previous edition Primoz Roglic, will start last. At 7:58 PM, the Dutch team will start their journey over more than 23 kilometers.

The start is near the Jaarbeurs, after which it goes eastwards to return to the center via the Maliesingel, Overvecht and Leidsche Rijn. The finish is on Jaarbeursplein, where it is clear before 8.30 pm who will be wearing the first red leader’s jersey.

The teams start every 4 minutes.
