There’s something in the ear that doesn’t belong there – “It’s still alive”

Ronald, 49, has had a mystery bug fly into his ear, which makes him twitch involuntarily.

Ruby Rose hosts a Yankee reality show and helps patients. There are also other doctors, such as Greg Starr, who can be seen on TV today. TLC

Emergency physician Ruby Rose together with his colleagues solves painful, unusual and terrible emergency situations in Yankee reality This Came Out of Me. The unifying factor for all cases is that objects and things have ended up in a place where they shouldn’t be.

Doctor Greg Starr helps in Midland, Texas, USA Ronald, 49, whose day off has been ruined. An insect has flown into the external auditory canal of his left ear.

– It’s still alive. It has wings and hits my eardrum. It makes me crazy. I can’t even stand because my balance is failing, Ronald describes in the series.

The bug starts fluttering when I touch my ear. It also doesn’t like when part of the ear canal is anesthetized, but there’s a reason for that.

– The purpose is to stun or kill the insect with lidocaine and remove it from the ear canal. Sometimes they just crawl out, Starr explains.

However, that is not the case now. The mystery bug has no intention of going away on its own. It also doesn’t stun and certainly doesn’t die. Ruby Rose compares the situation to a horror movie Human devils. Ronald twitches and moves his limbs involuntarily because of the intruder.

– An insect hitting the eardrum can affect the signals from the ear to the brain. It may cause vertigo, making it feel like the room is spinning. It can also trigger involuntary movements, Rose explains to the viewers.

When Rose’s colleague finally gets the insect out of the ear – alive – it can be identified. It is a larger than usual moth.

– I couldn’t believe how big it was, Ronald is horrified afterwards.

He is very grateful to the doctor.

– I hear again.
