The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov believes that it is inappropriate to say that “tomorrow or the day after tomorrow” we should expect an attack by Russia. According to him, at the moment, in not a single city where Russian troops are supposedly located, a “strike group” has not been formed.

“But this does not mean that there are low risks, it does not mean that there is no threat. I want to remind our partners that the threat has existed since 2013,” Reznikov said on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “1 + 1”.

The minister pointed out that, in any case, the Ukrainian military is ready to meet Russian troops and defend their country.

Meanwhile, the American television channel CBS reported on the receipt by “Russian troops” of the order to “invade Ukraine”. Channel employee David Martin did not cite any facts or documents to support his words, but referred to the fact that this was what US President Joe Biden had previously meant. The American leader said that the Russian authorities decided to attack Ukraine.

For his part, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov on CBS denied the presence of any aggressive plans against Ukraine. Antonov called the repeated reports of “an imminent invasion part of the information war.”
