Gordon’s birthday party was celebrated very lavishly last night in his Amsterdam penthouse, which is still for sale for 3 million euros. The TV program Shownieuws had sent a camera crew there and they took some shots of Gordon’s terrace from downstairs and they also filmed some arriving guests.

Top photographer William Rutten was also there and he sat at the desk of Shownieuws. “His entire living room was transformed into a restaurant and seventy friends were served there during a fantastic dinner, prepared by Herman den Blijker. The evening started with a ‘very nice’ speech, according to WIlliam. “Two years ago he also celebrated his birthday at his house and that came to an abrupt end. It had only been half an hour before the news came in about Peter R. de Vries. That was such a shock for everyone that everyone wanted to go home immediately.”
Enjoy life
Gordon paused at that. “By the terrible impact that has had. He says: ‘Two years later, a lot of things happened to me, but above all let’s enjoy life. We nag a lot of things that are not fun and are not good in life, but be happy that you can get a year older every year.’”
He continues: “He did that with a lot of people at his house who were served delicious food. I actually left before the main course.”
