The start of women’s football in Spain is still in danger
Tomorrow there will be a new meeting to try to unblock the situation
The controversy in Spanish women’s football continues after the ‘Rubiales case’. Now, the start of the F League for this season is in jeopardy due to a strike by players who demand better conditions than the current ones.
However, the approaches that both the League and the soccer unions have had have not had the desired successaccording to what was reported by the ‘Partidazo de Cope’.
The aforementioned medium points out that there was no agreement either at the meeting of League F and the unions for the Collective Agreementbeing salary the biggest point of disagreement. Of the scarce 16,000 euros per year as the minimum salary, Futpro, AFE, CCOO and UGT require a minimum of 35,000 euros.
As planned, another meeting will be held tomorrow around noon with the aim of unlocking the negotiation for the start of the league calendar that begins this Friday.
