There is a new Michelin star chef in Finland – Few have heard of this place

Vår from Porvoo received a Michelin star. “Vår is our interpretation of Porvoo, what Porvoo tastes and smells like,” says restaurateur Niko Lehto. Finland got a new Michelin restaurant this evening, when Porvoo’s Vår was awarded a Michelin star at the star award ceremony in Turku. Vår’s restaurateur Niko Lehto, 35, moved on stage to receive the star. Pippuri.fi asked Lehto about his mood immediately after the victory.
