Thus Theo Kolehmainen rejoiced on Boxing Day at the press conference of the Ice Cage 6 match night.
Kolehmainen won in his own match Toni Lampinen by first-round knockout.

The Finnish Freestyle Association investigated the case, as there is a clause in its rules stating that “the athlete and the athlete’s coaches/team management do not have the right themselves or through their representative to participate in betting on their own competitive event.”
The investigation finally lasted four weeks. Ice Cage promoter Max Hynninen revealed in a social media update published on Wednesday that Kolehmainen has been banned for four months for a betting violation.
Kolehminen’s ban applies to a free match. According to Hynninen, Kolehmainen can compete in other sports during the ban. He is also scheduled to compete in the next Ice Cage event.
Kolehmainen, 25, is one of Finland’s leading freelancers. He has become known to many precisely through the Ice Cage events.
Kolehmainen met Makwan Amirkhani in the main match of the Ice Cage 5 evening organized in Turku.
