Peeking at the neighbors

Have you always wanted to watch a concert in your neighbor’s living room? It is possible on Sunday February 4. Rappers, theater makers, poets, singer-songwriters and other performing artists steal the show during Peeking at the Buren. The concept of Peeking at the Buren is simple: there are free performances throughout Zoetermeer. These are distributed among living rooms in all neighborhoods. As a visitor you walk or cycle from one living room to another.

Stamp Exchange

Visit the stamp fair of the South Holland Association of Stamp Collectors on Saturday, February 3 Neighborhood association Buytenrode in Zoetermeer. You can visit all stamp sellers from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Entrance to the fair is free. Are you interested in a specific type of stamp? Then take via this form contact the organization.

Crafts boutique

On Sunday February 4th Club Entrance in Zoetermeer transformed into a craft boutique. Local entrepreneurs sell handmade products and there are creative workshops for young and old. Taste, smell and experience Zoetermeer crafts, from crêpes to workshops and stalls with artisan products. The doors are open from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. Participate in workshops such as making a toiletry bag from old jeans or a wall vase from clay. There are activities for children such as creating paper and drawing. There will be live music from The Silver Beetles and you can expect products such as wool, crocheted creations, artisanal ointment, care products and more.

Winter festival

On Sunday, February 4, Stadsboerderij de Weidemolen is organizing a winter party. Discover the skating rink, enjoy winter delicacies on the terrace and participate in various activities such as snowball throwing, ice fishing and a giant ski race. Meet ice queen Elsa and Anna and make winter food for birds in the garden house.

Entrance to the farm is free and the activities cost 3 euros each.

Caribbean Dance Night

Immerse yourself in an evening infused with Caribbean and Latin vibes at 1892 Food and Drink in Zoetermeer. The dress code is simple: you can come in your own style, but caps and sportswear are not appreciated. Spoil your taste buds with Surinamese snacks from Warung Mystique.

The party takes place on Saturday, February 3 and lasts from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Tickets cost 12 euros and you buy them here.

Discover with the kids
