After the first competitions in Östersund, Sweden, the biathlon circus is making its next stop in Hochfilzen this week. Last Sunday, German biathlon continued its excellent start to the 2023/2024 winter season.
While in the women’s race, two DSV starters, Franziska Preuß and Vanessa Voigt, once again finished second and third in the pursuit race, a German starter also showed himself in top form in the men’s pursuit race: Philipp Nawrath finished behind Sebastian Samuelsson Second place and even secured the yellow jersey of the overall World Cup leader.

The Biathlon World Cup will again be broadcast live and free-to-air on German television this weekend. As well as Eurosport as well as that ARD broadcast all biathlon competitions this week as a complete package and are available for free.
