Norwegian ski jumper Isak Andreas Langmo passed out unexpectedly last wednesday.
– I was very nervous before inspecting, controlling and stamping the suits. The stress level was a little too high and I fainted, says Langmo.
Jumpsuits have been a big topic of conversation in Norway since the country was caught manipulating the costumes last season. Testing is now accurate.
– Suddenly I only saw black. I just remember that next there were a lot of people from FIS who tried to support me, says Langmo.
He doesn’t know how long he was unconscious.
– But the man from the Norwegian medical team said it lasted less than ten seconds. I woke up to it myself.
The situation was naturally very confusing. The inspectors gave Langmo a drink of water after he collapsed.
– They said I could stamp the suit later.
Langmo’s suit was approved on re-examination, but the drama didn’t end there. After qualifying on Sunday, he was disqualified due to an open zipper.
