The UMK artists’ announcement broadcast on Yle did not please the viewers. The participants of this year’s New Music Competition, or UMK, were announced live on Yle today. Neea River, Nelli Matula, Costee, Viivi, One Morning Left group, Goldielocks and Erika Vikman are competing for the place of Finland’s Eurovision representative and UMK’s victory. In the UMK artist announcement broadcast, journalist-presenter Jasmin Beloued led the discussion in the competition studio, where Eurovision commentators Mikko Silvennoinen and Eva Franz weighed in on the artists and the competition.
