Ukrainian authorities are considering the possibility of introducing food ration cards due to rising prices

The republic is considering such an opportunity for targeted support of the population against the backdrop of rising food prices. The authorities have already introduced state regulation on some types of food, including buckwheat, butter and bread

The Ukrainian authorities do not exclude that they can introduce food cards through the application of state services “Diya”, reported presidential advisor Oleg Ustenko, reports RBK-Ukraine. This measure is seen as targeted assistance to citizens against the backdrop of rising food prices.

“The idea of how to support the most vulnerable groups of the population is relevant. And there may be a dozen options for how to distribute this subsidy. But we are talking about an economy in which much is probabilistic. That is, it may or may not be, ”explained Ustenko.
