The concert film shows 31 live songs from their concert at London’s Troxy last year.
There will be an appearance by The Cure in select cinemas on December 11th. “The Cure: The Show Of A Lost World” will then be shown, the 4K recording of the band’s concert on November 1st, 2024 in London’s Troxy.

Editorial recommendations
The gig was particularly special, as not only was their long-awaited (and excellent) comeback album SONGS OF A LOST WORLD released that day, but it was also the musicians’ first and only appearance in this legendary venue.
The film was directed by Nick Wickham (who has worked with Madonna and Rihanna) and mixed by Robert Smith himself. A total of 31 tracks can be experienced, including of course ALL the pieces from the new record.
The setlist is divided into several parts, first the SONGS OF A LOST WORLD, then “Hits And Vintage Songs” with, among other things, “Pictures Of You” and “Disintegration” and “SEVENTEEN SECOND” songs as well as an extensive encore part, which finally ended with “Boy’s Don’t Cry”.
Advance sales for tickets start on November 20th. There is currently no information as to which German cinemas the concert film will be shown in. On the specially website set up for the event but you can get information about new details.

If you don’t have time to see the film in the cinema, you don’t have to be sad, because “The Show Of A Lost World” will also be released on Blu-ray and DVD at the end of December. Just a few months ago, The Cure released MIXES OF A LOST WORLD, a new version of their current LP designed by colleagues.
