Dallas Stars NHL star Mikko Rantanen29, will be out of action for at least two weeks.
Stars head coach Glen Gulutzan told reporters on Tuesday.
Rantanen was injured in the Olympic quarter-final against Canada. Rantanen scored the opening goal of the match with an upper hand.
The Texan club will return from the Olympic break on the night before Thursday Finnish time. It will face the Seattle Kraken in its home match.
Esa Lindell and Miro Heiskanen have returned to Stars practice strength but Roope Hintz has been sidelined due to illness.
