The scary crash was too much – the WRC driver’s kart had to leave

Pierre-Louis Loubet and his co-driver Nicolas Gilsoul had a violent crash in Chile.

M-Sport driver Pierre-Louis Loubet change his cart. The French coach told about it on his Facebook account.

Served as Loubet’s karter for his first season Nicolas Gilsoul. The two started working together ten months ago. They have only finished 4th in points this season. Loubet is currently 11th in the World Rally Championship points standings.

Now Gilsoul can go.

– Our paths diverge faster than we expected, Loubet wrote.

Gilsoul has not yet commented on the end of the collaboration, According to Dirtfish.

The duo got into a violent crash in the World Rally Championship in Chile.

On the third special stage of the rally, Loubet and Gilsoul flew off the road in a curve towards the forest. After a few volts, the car’s movement stopped in a tree. The two survived the shock uninjured, although Loubet limped on his leg.

Loubet has not named a new karttur yet. He will participate in the Central European Rally at the end of October.

Gilsoul previously served as Thierry Neuville’s karter. The duo took 13 victories in the World Rally Championship between 2012 and 2020. Their paths diverged in 2021.
