At the meeting open to the press, held in Coverciano at the beginning of April, the designator Gianluca Rocchi made public the audio of that episode in which Davide Massa said “Ball, ball, ball: go go …” effectively giving a wrong reading to the contact from rigor. “He exceeded superficiality without deepening other images,” Rocchi said at that juncture. Massa has not yet returned to referee a match in Serie A but he was the fourth official in Atalanta-Napoli.
