boygenius announce their debut LP “the record” for March 31st, 2023. At the same time, they released three singles from the album: “$20”, “True Blue” and “Emily I’m Sorry”.
The band consists of singer-songwriters Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus. Bridgers said the group met rather accidentally as each was a fan of each other’s music. Her debut EP “Boygenius” was released in 2018. The group announced they will be performing at the Coachella Festival in 2023.
