Actor Nicolas Cage58, has finally got an answer to the pasta mystery 25 years ago.

Cage recounted the best pasta experience of his life when he answered questions from fans in the U.S. on Reddit’s Ask Anything column. Cage was marketing his new film An unbearable burden of greater talent.

He was asked at Reddit what his favorite pasta shape is.

– I went once Charlie Sheenen with an Italian restaurant in San Francisco about 25 years ago because there was a square tube of pasta, Cage replied.

– We loved it so we went back the next day and ate it again, Cage continues.

It is still the best pasta he has ever eaten, according to Cage. What the pasta was all about remained a mystery for years.

– You probably won’t find it in your local market, People writes.

Cage didn’t remember what the name of the restaurant was.

Cage’s report launched an online search for what a rare type of pasta might be. The issue has been resolved on Twitter, among other things.

The crucial clue was found in the San Francisco Facebook group: the restaurant is called Cafe Tiramisu.

Restaurant owners Pino Spinoso and Giuseppe Scoppetto remember Cage and Sheen visiting their restaurant.

Spinoso opens the riddle of a square pipe paste.

This is a portion of the restaurant’s paccheri pasta with beef tail sauce.

– They’re half the size of a candle, and when you cook them, they flatten a little. Almost like a rigaton, but wider and bigger, Spinoso describes paccheri pasta.

In the movie An unbearable burden of great talent Cage presents himself.

The film will premiere in Finland today, Friday, April 22.
