LiveNation, organizer of the Barcelona Beach Festival, has spoken before the announcement issued by the City Council of Sant Adrià del Besòs in which the license to hold the festival has been denied.
The organizer affirms that it has been the City hall of Sant Adrià del Besos who submitted the aforementioned application after the deadline, not them. Therefore, they have stated that “he has no choice” but to filing of a criminal complaint against the mayor of Sant Adrià del BesòsMs. Filomena Cañete Carrillo, and against the first deputy mayor, Ms. Ruth Soto García.
They have also stated that they will file a property liability claim in front of the town hall economic and reputational damage if finally they do not let you celebrate the event.

In an official statement the organizer has denied that the documentation was submitted after the deadline necessary to obtain the mandatory and binding report from the Directorate General for Prevention, Fire Extinction and Salvage of the Generalitat, a fact that the town hall of the municipality has notified this Friday afternoon, less than 24 hours before the start of the festival.
