Boris Brozhovsky

Cinematographer Boris Brozhovsky died at the age of 87, about this informed his wife Nina Popova on Facebook.

“My husband, a wonderful person, a friend, has passed away! Cinematographer who has made over 40 films,” she wrote.

Brozhovsky was born July 26, 1935, in 1959 he completed his studies at the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK). Since 1960 he worked at Mosfilm. In 2001 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist.

Brozhovsky was the operator of the film “Cold Summer of 53”. He also worked on the filming of the films “Sport, Sports, Sports”, “Dreams”, “Black Veil”, “Why Does a Man Need Wings” and “Kill a Carp”.

Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2005 named Brozhovsky as a talented cameraman with a bright and original style.
