The “one-second knockout” is amazing in a freestyle match

Luis Hernandez kicked Brian Topp once and that was enough.

The free fight Titan FC promotion saw one of the fastest knockout wins in history.

American Luis Hernandez26, didn’t need an opponent Brian Toppin28, to defeat like a single kick to the head.

The ring announcer of the match announced that the fight was over in just one second. However, the official statistics recorded the winning time as three seconds.

The “one-second knockout” caused the commentators of the match to be totally shocked. They screamed out loud at ringside.

However, according to some fans, Hernandez’s victory came by dirty means. The knockout was criticized because Hernandez’s outstretched forearm could be interpreted to mean he was offering his opponent a gentlemanly glove-to-glove touch before exchanging blows.

If this had been the case, Hernandez would still not have broken the rules of the free match. The contestants’ task is to protect themselves in the ring from the moment the referee has started the match.

Hernandez has now won three times in his professional career and is yet to lose. Top’s stat line is a sadder 1–5.

Titan FC’s knockout was faster than, say, the UFC has ever seen. The UFC record is held by Jorge Masvidal, who knocked out by Ben Askren in five seconds in 2019.
