Fake CAPTCHA assurance has been used to distribute a known malware. Computer manufacturer HP’s Cyber Security Division Wolf Security warns about the proliferation of fake CAPTCHA. CAPTCHA assurance is a test that can show that the service is used by a person and not a machine. At its simplest, the CAPTCHA test has to put a “not a robot” on the box, but much more complex authentication methods have also become more common.
