Norwegian YouTube star Simen Andersen has died at the age of 24, says VG.
Andersen ran together with his brothers for a long time by Daniel Andersen with one of Norway’s most popular YouTube channels called Daniel og Simen.

The brothers made videos for the channel together until Daniel died in 2022.
Both brothers had Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a rare and inherited muscle wasting disease disease.
The father confirmed his son’s death to VG on Tuesday morning.
– The disease finally won, and the heart stopped today, 14.4.26. In that case, the Daniel og Simen duo unfortunately became history. Life has been very rich in content, and it has included awards, a documentary film and publicity. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved, writes the father Bjørn Gunnar Andersen and the rest of the family in their statement to VG.
Both brothers had Duchenne muscular dystrophy and openly shared content about their lives in wheelchairs. In 2017, they won the opinion influencer of the year award at the Norwegian Youtube gala.
The brothers were also known for their anti-bullying work. According to the magazine, their videos often combined light entertainment with more serious topics, such as bullying.
They were united by a strong interest in football. Among the brothers, Simen was a particularly enthusiastic Liverpool supporter.
