Regime TV prepares the Christmas show, but the leading actress has fled to the West and the substitute is ready to do anything to boycott the show, the director’s son contemplates reaching Yugoslavia, but the Securitate, which never escapes, keeps an eye on him.

A father is forced to deny his son who made a compromising request to Santa Claus, a woman refuses to leave her home to satisfy the dictator’s real estate delusions.
Newcomer Mureșanu plunges us into the atmosphere of paranoia experienced under oppression. But his guided tour through the end of a world is suffused with irony. Best Film at the Venetian Orizzonti.
