The new Mammut management around CEO Heiko Schäfer is in place

The Swiss outdoor company Mammut Sports Group AG has appointed Nic Brandenberger as its new Chief Marketing Officer effective January 1, 2023. Michael Rammelsberger takes over the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer. This completes the new management team around the new CEO Heiko Schäfer, who switched from Hugo Boss to Mammut in May.

Nic Brandenberger comes from Switzerland and has many years of experience in digital omnichannel marketing as well as strategic brand development and digitization. For over 18 years, Brandenberger worked in various positions for companies such as Procter & Gamble, eBay and most recently Fandom. He succeeds Benedikt Hanny, who assumed the position of CMO on an interim basis in spring 2022 and is now leaving the company.

Michael Rammelsberger, who was previously Head of Supply Chain at Mammut, has now been appointed to the management board in the newly created position of Chief Supply Chain Officer. With this focus on the value chain, the highest level of service for customers and consumers, the sustainable development of the supply chain and an even better distribution of costs, inventories and delivery performance should be guaranteed, according to the company in a press release. The supply chain area is to be anchored even more centrally at Mammut and used as a competitive advantage.

CEO Heiko Schäfer: “Thanks to Nic and Michael, as well as the existing management, we are now in an excellent position to achieve our ambitious goals with Mammut. With his experience in digital marketing, community building and brand management, Nic will have a major impact on the perception and communication of the Mammut brand. At the same time, we will optimize the supply chain for customers and consumers in the long term through the even closer cooperation with Michael in the management.”
