Gerri Pasturi, the former brand director of Pierre Cardin, is moving to Desoto. Pasturi will take on the role of Head of Sales & Product at the shirt manufacturer, he announced on Monday on the career network Linkedin. According to his profile, he has been working for the shirt manufacturer since December.
Pasturi left the R.Brand Group, which took over the Pierre Cardin brand from Ahlers AG in July 2023, last August. The takeover introduced the role of brand director for Pierre Cardin, which had been taken on by Pasturi, who previously worked as international sales manager at Ahlers AG. However, with the arrival of Simon Rooney as Head of Product & Brand with overall responsibility for product, design and sourcing for all three lifestyle brands of the R.Brand Group, Pasturi’s time at the Herford-based company came to an end.
Before the takeover by the R.Brand Group, which is part of the Röther Group, Pasturi worked in various roles at Pierre Cardin for more than eight years. He also previously worked for Maerz Munich for almost 21 years, including as Head of Sales Menswear and Head of Division Men/Women of the knitwear provider.
