The Netherlands will ban disposable plastic at the office and at festivals in 2024: also on paper cups with a plastic layer

From 2024, disposable cups and cutlery will no longer be allowed in the Netherlands at the office, in the catering industry or at festivals. That is what the competent State Secretary, Vivianne Heijnen (Environment), wrote in a letter to the House of Representatives (the equivalent of our House of Representatives, ed.). In these places you have to start using reusable plates or cups.
