The Netherlands warns not to eat eggs from our own chickens, we eat a maximum of two a week

People throughout the Netherlands should no longer eat eggs from hobby chickens. According to the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), people can get too much PFAS if they do. The institute recommends buying eggs in a store or on a market. In Belgium, the Flemish Department advises care to vary between eggs in its own garden and those from the store.
