The Hague/Brussels – EU countries unanimously agreed on Thursday to the full accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the Schengen zone as of January 1, 2025. Free movement of goods, services and people applies in the Schengen area. The eyes were only focused on the Netherlands: the issue is causing discord in the coalition.
