With Gary Anderson and Peter Wright, Scotland was able to present a duo that has earned his nobility in the darts sport, but there was little to notice. Noppert and Van Veen did not give the British any leg.

The average with three arrows from Noppert and Van Veen was slightly above 100, while Anderson and Wright did not even reach the 80. 8-0 was therefore the logical consequence. The Czech Republic is now waiting in the quarterfinals.

Luke Littler and Luke Humphries eliminated

An 8-0 was not immediately expected at England Germany, but Luke Littler and Luke Humphries were a favorite to win well. That went a little differently, because Germany – Ricardo Pietreczko and Martin Schindler – was surprisingly sharp in its own Frankfurt.

Littler and Humphries ran after the facts and looked at a 5-2 deficit at De Break. What the two discussed during the break turned out not to have a direct effect, because it became 7-2 and so there were six chances for Pietreczko and Schindler to finish it.

The first two legs after that went to Luke & Luke, but Germany eventually surprisingly pulled the longest end: 8-4.
