Outgoing minister Ruben Brekelmans announced that the Netherlands delivers anti-harvance capacities at the request of Denmark. “Based on our experience with the NATO summit, we can help Denmark against drones,” said the VVD minister.
The Dutch soldiers are part of the Defense Land-based air defense command, stationed in the Lieutenant General Bestkazerne in Vredepeel.
French helicopter and German frigate
Other countries also provide social assistance in Copenhagen during the informal EU summit on Wednesday and the top of the European political community on Thursday.
France has sent 35 men from an anti-drone team and a Fennec helicoper. Germany delivers forty specialized soldiers and a large frigate. Sweden has made anti-drone systems and radars available.
