Last night, the official government account on Instagram released the registration of the meeting between Javier Milei and the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. The video caught the attention not only for the diplomatic relevance of the meeting, but for the style chosen to present it: a montage without dialogues, accompanied only by epic music, which gave the registry a silent air of cinema.

In the images, Milei is seen shaking Netanyahu’s hand, walking together through the official halls and holding solemn gestures in front of the cameras. The total absence of direct sound – nor voices or atmosphere – reinforces the cinematographic effect, where music ends up being the true narrator of the meeting.

The official statement that accompanied the publication said that during the meeting the situation of the captive hostages in Gaza was mainly addressed. “The president of the Nation reiterated his firm commitment to collaborate in all the instances necessary to achieve his prompt release and raised the full disposition to work together with the Israeli authorities for that purpose,” the text explained.

Milei’s agenda in Israel continued with the reception of an award awarded by the B’NAi B’rith organization and meetings with the president of the Jewish World Congress, Donald Lauder, and the director of the Latin American Jewish Council, Claudio Epelman.

The result was an official piece that, in addition to informing about the content of the visit, opted for an unusual staging: solemn scenes without words, wrapped in epic music. It is not an isolated resource: from its first acts as president, the Government of Milei has been cultivating an aesthetic of film epic to reinforce its political story, and the meeting with Netanyahu is part of that same line.
