José Antonio Rebollo, Vox candidate for the presidency of the Consell de Formentera, has starred a surreal moment in the electoral interview that has been granted to Ràdio Illa, the public station that broadcasts for the smallest of the Pitiüses.

Rebollo does not live in Formentera but in Ibiza and, apparently, has some gaps on the Balearic geography. In the interview they begin by asking about the main problems of the island and, in his response, he denounces the presence of barracks in the classrooms. “Where are there barracks?” asks the journalist. “Well, the barrack we have at the school, I think it’s from Mahón”. At that moment there is silence in the studio: «How do you say? Barracks where?”, and the call is cut off.

The journalists cannot believe it: ” It can’t have said Mahón We must have misunderstood.”

Two minutes later, they manage to retrieve the call. The far-right candidate rectify and no longer says Mahón, says that the barracks are in Saint Ferran (“San Fernando,” he says.) In reality, they are barracks that no longer exist.

Minutes later, the journalists ask him Who would you go to dinner with first? If with Puigdemont or with Pablo Iglesias . He doesn’t understand and says, perplexed: “Did you say suck?” Ah, right, right, crash ”.

Rebollo responds that opted for Pablo Iglesias: “So that he sees that we have nothing against him, I would give him to Podemos.”
