We mark off the last days on the calendar. Always a good time to look back on the year that has almost passed. Which videos, stories and events from NH Sport were so beautiful, special or fun in 2023 that we want to highlight them one more time? Today we focus on Peter van Noord. Much more than the (then) basketball coach of Den Helder Suns.
It was barely a year ago when NH Sport broadcast the report about the passionate Van Noord. The coach of Den Helder explains in passing I also want to point out how important it is that players’ ankles are properly taped. “With some graduated physiotherapists it is as if they wrap toilet paper around it,” says the honest Van Noord.
In the summer of 2023, the collaboration between Den Helder Suns and Peter van Noord will end after six years. He currently works as a talent coach at the basketball association and head coach of the Under 20 team.
