The last days of 2022 are all about looking back at NH Sport. Which reports, stories and moments deserve to be read one more time in the spotlights to put? Today: a report about the HCAW baseball players. Coach Danny Rombley’s men became Dutch champions for the first time since 1998.
With the arrival of Lars Huijer, Max Draijer and Victor Draijer, among others, the selection of the Bussumers in 2021 has already been considerably strengthened. In 2022, the crowning glory will be put on the cake. For the first time in eight years, the Holland Series will not be played between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, but HCAW will play against Neptunus from Rotterdam.
In a clean sweep HCAW wins 4-0 against Neptunus. In its own Rob Hoffman valley, HCAW is crowned national champion for the third time in club history. NH Sport was of course there and made the above report.
