What are the biggest trends in men’s fashion 2025?
In fashion, too, less and less is being considered in role images. “Men’s fashion emancipates itself more and more from traditional dress codes,” says Winfried Rollmann, material and menswear expert at the German Fashion Institute. In spring/summer 2025, cool layering awaits us, i.e. layers of several parts, with elegant and sophisticated details.
While Rollmann mainly sees a hybrid, but quite smart tailoring on the rise, including shortened shirt jackets to bundle of folds, Stylist Lukas Blasberg predicts a comeback of the sport-inspired fashion: “Trends like” Blokecore “, inspired by football fan style with jerseys were even up The catwalks of big designers: to see inside like Fendi or Louis Vuitton ”.

Even if the temperatures in spring finally rise again, jackets are part of the standard wardrobe. But which styles are now announced? “The shirt jacket clearly remains the keypical of the season. Either cropped or in a jacket length it fits every opportunity, ”says Winfried Rollmann.
Buffers and westers also become a stylish look for the new season. “Oversized designs in gaudy or muted tones are super fashionable and are best combined with extensive pants,” says Lukas Blasberg.
But cardigans are now an absolute must. “However, it is not quite grandpa’s favorite that is simply recycled,” says Blasberg and advises this styling: “The layering look with bright colors, logos and patterns ensures a modern update. No man gets along this year without his cardigan ”.
Which shoes are announced in spring and summer?
A perfect look naturally also includes suitable shoes, and here too there are clear trends. If you like it a little more daring, you can rely on “Galaxy Sneaker” in the new season. “We will see futuristic high-tech sneakers with an exceptional design. The more extraterrestrial – the alien – the design, the better, ”says Lukas Blasberg.
But of course there is something suitable for more classical tastes. “Loafer and moccasins run the rank fashionably to the classic sneakers,” said Winfried Rollmann and advises to carry slip-ons made of leather to Bermudas in summer.
Which accessories do we see in men this year?
While accessories were mainly worn by women until recently, the decorative accessories have slowly paved its way into men’s fashion in the past seasons. “Jewelry such as necklaces, earrings or rings play an increasingly important role for men. Nicki towels and ties, too, ”says Rollmann. However, the latter combined to casual outfits and therefore not a bit old -fashioned.
Lukas Blasberg mainly sees bags on the trend radar: over is the time when man had to stuff his belongings into his pockets. From large, practical shoppers for everyday life and office, over mini bags that rely on “small, stylish accents with a focus on Attitude instead of storage space” to nylon bags that are functional, easy to care for and ideal for modern street style looks.
What should men leave in the wardrobe in 2025?
Of course, in addition to the question of trendy trends, the question always arises as to which looks are no longer announced this season. Even if basically, of course, the following applies: what likes it can be worn. If you still want to get through the season stylish, you rely on relaxed silhouettes.
Both experts agree that Skinny jeans and tight -fitting jackets have had its day in spring/summer. “We are now leaving up rolled up pants. Let’s just say: Ankle, like in the 19th century, is again considered obscene, ”jokes Lukas Blasberg.
What colors are now announced?
In addition to silhouettes, individual keypicals and fashionable no-gos, there are of course also certain colors that are particularly popular this season. While light pastel tones in the Frauenwarderobe have long been part of the recurring trend, they are now also establishing themselves in men’s fashion. “Light and soft natural tones are exciting with faded rosé, sage or cool aquatones. New Summerdarks such as Charcoal, night blue, oxblood and palm green are new, ”says Winfried Rollmann.
How can you integrate current trends into your business wardrobe?
If you want to give your otherwise rather classic looks a little more fashion appeal in the office, you can do this in just a few simple steps. “Oversized Sakkos can be combined modern and comfortably with classic shirts and pants – you already have them in the closet,” advises Lukas Blasberg. If you dare a little more, Winfried Rollmann advises: “The short-term shirt with an open collar or the knitted polo give light business suits fashion appeal”. But the expert also sees short-sleeved shirts with pants made of the same fabric as a “summer suit”.
What trends are prevailing this year?
We know that pants are not cut too body -emphasized this year. But what do you have to look like to be in trend? “Especially shapes with a little more leg size and bundle fold are definitely part of it. Bermudas and shorts will definitely be seen in the street scene, ”said Rollmann.
Lukas Blasberg knows the current trends for everyone who not only wear chinos and suit pants, but are also traveling in jeans: “Double Denim is the order of the day. The Canadian Tuxedo was never really out of fashion, but now we are throwing ourselves back into jeans ”. And it doesn’t matter whether in the same wash or not. Texture and color may vary. “If you want even less, you need at least a denim jacket in your closet!”
