According to UEFA’s 2024 European Club Finance and Investment Report, the most costly cadres in Europe have been announced and a record was made.
According to the report, there are four clubs exceeding 1 billion euros in 2024. All of these clubs are the UK Premier League teams: Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal. This once again revealed the financial power of the Premier League in European football.
Chelsea, 1.6 billion euros with the staff value of the most expensive staff in the history of football attracted attention. This record, Real Madrid in 2020 with 1.3 billion euros broke the previous record behind. Chelsea was followed by Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid.
In addition, in 2024, 9 of the first 20 clubs with the highest salary budget came from the England Premier League. This reveals the financial power of the clubs in the league and the size of player investments.
