Miss Jamaica 2025 Gabrielle Henry fell off the stage of the Miss Universe pageant in November 2025 and was seriously injured.

28-year-old Henry suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, a fracture, contusions to his face and other significant injuries in the fall. Henry lost consciousness in the situation and was treated in the hospital for weeks. He was also in intensive care.

Now Henry went public half a year after the event. On Saturday, May 16, he represented the charity Integrity Children’s Fund at an event in Atlanta. The purpose of the organization is, among other things, to promote the reading skills of young Jamaicans who have moved to Atlanta.

Miss Jamaica also gave a speech at the event. During his speech, he sat on the stage and a man sitting next to him held a microphone for him.

In March, it was announced that Henry has been discharged from the hospital, but the check-ups are still continuing. The organizers of the Miss Jamaica pageant stated that Henry cannot give interviews or make official appearances as Miss Jamaica for the time being.

Henry fell off the stage during the preliminaries of the Miss Universe pageant on Wednesday, November 19. After the accident, he was rushed to intensive care in Bangkok, where the Miss Universe competitions were held in November 2025. At that time, Henry’s condition was critical.

The Miss Universum organization paid all of Henry’s hospital expenses in Thailand and the accommodation of Henry’s mother and sister. The organization also paid for Henry’s return home and all other medical expenses that resulted from the accident.

The Miss Universe 2025 competition was won by Mexico Fátima Bosch. Finland’s representative Sarah Dzafce did not reach the top thirty.
