Mobile ground missile system “Yars”

In the Ivanovo region, exercises are being held with the participation of Yars strategic mobile ground-based missile systems (PGRK), military personnel have worked out changing field positions when performing combat duty tasks on combat patrol routes. About it reported in the Ministry of Defense.
About 1,000 military personnel are involved in the maneuvers, more than a hundred pieces of equipment of the Teikovsky missile formation, based in the Ivanovo region, the department specified.
“Strategic missilemen are working out the issues of bringing missile systems to field positions, making marches up to 100 km long, dispersing units with a change in field positions, their engineering equipment, organizing camouflage and combat security,” the message says.

In early February, exercises with the Yars complexes began in the Tagil missile formation of the Sverdlovsk region. The military worked out the fight against sabotage groups, covert movement and reconnaissance using modern means of communication and drones.
