The makers of the RTL 4 show The Masked Singer have made a decision about the successor of the deceased jury member Loretta Schrijver: he will not come. “That is impossible.”
Loretta Schrijver will be missed in the new season of The Masked Singer, of which a new season will be taken this summer. The four remaining jury members Buddy Vedder, Carlo Boszhard, Gerard Joling and Monica Geuze will continue without a successor for Loretta, Carlo confirms in front of the camera of Shownieuws.
No successor
It is not possible to replace Loretta, according to Carlo. “It just stays as it is. D’r place is not filled in or something. No, that is not possible either. Loretta is irreplaceable.”
What is it about to record the show without her? “It just gets very difficult, but we are going to try to make it a great season. You can’t do anything else. It was her favorite program and for a lot of people, so we are going to do that and naturally honor her with a very nice season.”

Show connoisseur Eline de Ruig wonders whether the jury’s attitude is changing. “I am curious if the four of them are still listing or if they are going back to those two teams, as the program started. I thought that was something.”
