FOUR STARS

Comes back Elysiumreturns the most precise description of Argentine psychopathy and the most finished work of Guillermo Francella. But compared to the first season, there are differences.

The most substantial is that there is a plot that forces a temporary union between Zambrano (Goity) and Eliseo against someone who comes with an air of purity to take charge of the administration of the building. This generates an inversion in the structure: what happens in each episode is secondary to the general plot, when in the first season, the “to be continued” part was outlined or added little by little in each chapter.

It never stops having great moments, it never stops having great dialogues, it doesn’t stop appearing surprises. But we are closer to the satirical novel than to the self-contained series. It is not bad in itself, except that the last episode seems to rush an outcome that could have been developed more subtly in others. Even so, The one in charge It is, by far, the best that Argentine TV can do. Or just the best of TV.
