Technical Director of the Japanese Football Association Masanaga Kageyama has received an 18 -month conditional prison sentence, BBC reported.
Kageyama, 58, was caught watching the nursing material on an airplane. On his computer, pictures were found showing sexual abuse of children.
Federal boss was arrested last week at Paris Airport when his flight was performed by a stopover, French magazine Le for the pairs reported.
Kageyama admitted that he had watched abuse, but said he did not know it was illegal in France.
As he was caught, Kageyama claimed that the pictures were “art” created by artificial intelligence. He had watched shocking material in the business class cabin.
The Japanese Football Association announced that it would immediately terminate the technical director’s employment contract. The court also ordered that he should not work with children for ten years.
Kageyama is a former professional footballer.
