Susanna Ruotsalainen, rarely seen in public, tells Iltalehte about her current news.

CEO known from TV and deceased Matti Nykänen ex-fiancé Susanna Taskinen (formerly Swede), 51, arrives Mine Äkkijyrkän to the opening of the art exhibition in a stylish black pantsuit. Her outfit also includes a golden bag and jewelry.

Susanna tells Iltalehte that she and her husband recently went to Canada to relax and celebrate their two-year wedding anniversary.

– His daughter lives there with her Canadian husband, so we went to say hello to them at the same time. I also went to Niagara Falls, says Susanna.

– I was able to take a vacation when I haven’t taken a vacation in exactly four years. It was a little weird. I love to work and have been a workaholic all my life, so it was hard for me to just be. But I decided not to actually work there. Some days, however, I did, but it was a kind of learning, he continues.

Susanna says that she enjoys her marriage to the fullest.

– You would think, when you get married at an old age, that this is definitely the right guy. You’ve already seen a lot in life, so you don’t have to think about anything anymore. So everyone who is thinking about getting married at an older age, I think it’s a great thing. It is somehow ready for that, he says.

For the first time in her life, Susanna feels that her other half is really a support and security for her, that she can lean on when needed.

– I think it’s a great thing to be able to trust him and really think about the future. There is no such uncertainty, Susanna says.

– As in building a house, when the foundation is strong, you can build on it. I have such a situation for the first time in my life in a relationship, and it’s amazing, he said.

A change in everyday life

According to Susanna, in addition to basic everyday life and work, the couple’s everyday life includes traveling and golfing. Her husband especially loves the sport, and the couple has planned a winter golf trip.

However, there is one thing in everyday life that Susanna wants to change.

– I work so much that in the coming years I should try to do less of them. So that I have more time for the relationship, he admits.

There is also humor in their everyday life, and according to Susanna, her husband is very funny. Susanna considers a sense of humor to be one of the most important things in a relationship.

– He is a businessman, but an entrepreneur, and can be terribly funny and witty at home. I won’t go into details, but he makes me laugh. I can’t wear it [huumoria] into words, but it works for me, Susanna describes.

Future

Susanna works as a manufacturer, developer and marketer of indoor acoustic products. There are also business operations in Finland, but the company’s markets are mainly abroad, for example in the Middle East, India and Belgium.

Through her work, Susanna has noticed how the Finnish work culture differs from, for example, the work culture of Indians and Arabs.

– In the beginning, it was learning when urgent messages came in and we always responded to everything in a terrible hurry. Then the truth began to be revealed, that there was never a rush. It’s just their habit to want to put pressure on them.

– Then we in Finland know how to organize, for example, on a project website, while in those countries there are so many people that there is quite a lot of employee turnover. It’s a bit of a challenge when the crew changes at construction sites. Here in Finland, we are so organized that it is hard for us to understand how things can sometimes get so messed up on a construction site.

Next, Susanna would have a business trip to Dubai and India ahead of her. The trip starts in less than a month, but he is already excited about his upcoming return to Finland.

– I have the problem that after every trip to India, I’ve been in the hoses, because something has always come up. But it’s awfully common. Now I mean to start pulling some drops in good time before the trip.

Susanna has once been seen, for example, in Diili and Viidako stätöset programs. However, he has not been invited to programs for a long time, but he does not consider it a bad thing.

– I really don’t even like to be on display. I wouldn’t go to any programs again, it’s been seen. I’m not interested in being featured anymore, although there are probably interesting reality shows.

– I just like being like this. And I don’t understand why I would even be asked for programs, because I don’t feel like I’m a public figure or an interesting person anymore. There are far more interesting and relevant people participating in these programs. It’s enough for me to be interesting to my friends, my husband and my family, she adds at the end.
