The late Robin Williams is heard as the voice of Disney – Never-before-heard lines from the favorite character

Actor Robin Williams lent his voice to the Spirit of Aladdin. Soon Henki will have adventures in a new movie and the character will hear lines that have not been heard before.

The deceased is heard in Disney’s recent short film Robin Williams. Once Upon a Studio -with the animation film, we want to honor the hundred-year legacy of the Disney studio.

The film features hundreds of iconic characters, incl Aladdin– the Spirits of the movie come to life again. In the film, lines are heard from Henge that are not familiar from Aladdin.

Williams lent his voice to the bumbling blue character in the 1992 film. Williams died in 2014. The beloved actor was 63 years old when he died.

Many have speculated that the revival of Henge required the help of artificial intelligence, but producer Yvett Merino has said that, in fact, no.

Merino said For Polygon publication, that they used direct dubs from previous recordings. He says that there are always more recordings than one.

This is how the familiar characters look in melted harmony in the new film.

Loiri as Spirit

He gave his voice to Finnish-speaking Henge Vesa-Matti Loiri.

Film maker Pekka Lehtosaari told in August 2022 how Loiri ended up as a dubber for the Finnish-language Aladdin.

In Disney’s papers, it is described that the sound range of Spirit ranges from a flute-like whisper to the rumble of a thunder mountain. Lehtosaari combined the flute with Loir, the latter as a cross flute and The flute manto the song.

At the same time, he knew that Disney Finland could not afford to pay the kind of wages that Loiri was certainly used to while performing.

However, Lehtosaari wanted to try and contacted Loir’s acquaintances.

– Everyone said the same thing: Vesku is the kind of person that if he wants to do something, he will do it for free. If he doesn’t want to, there isn’t enough money to get him to agree, Lehtosaari said.

Disney declared the Finnish version of Aladdin and Vesa-Matti Loir’s performance as Henk to be the best of all dubbed versions of the film.

– It was something unheard of in Finland before, it had never been seen before, Lehtosaari described Loir’s performance.
