The King and Queen of Spain, Felipe VI and Doña Letizia, will travel on Sunday on an official Spanish Air Force flight, together with Queen Sofía, and accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, to attend the queen’s funeral Isabel II.
During their stay in London, Their Majesties will stay at the residence of the Ambassador of Spain, according to sources from the Royal House.
Due to logistical and organizational reasons, Queen Sofia will stay in the same hotel as King Juan Carlos, the same sources have specified.

Once the state funeral is over, Felipe VI will return to Madrid with Doña Sofía, while Queen Letizia will travel directly from London to New York to start on Tuesday the 20th the activities planned in its official agenda.
The Royal House has not been able to specify details on the distribution and location of authorities during the state funeral, as it still lacks that information, given that All organizational and protocol aspects correspond exclusively to the British authorities.
