After a successful sales start for the Dutch market, which exceeded all expectations, the Hooijer Footwear Group becomes the new importer of the shoe brand HEYDUDE for the Benelux countries, Germany and Austria. Consequently, for the Spring/Summer 2023 sales season, all HEYDUDE activities for these markets will be handled through Hooijer Footwear Group.
HEYDUDE – Classy casual shoes for the whole family
Heydude was founded in Italy in 2008 with the aim of designing modern shoes that are as airy as slippers. Shoes at affordable prices and good quality. The passion and commitment of this Italian brand has resulted in a special collection of lightweight (travel) shoes for the whole family. The shoes are based on the moccasin and have a wide fit with plenty of room for the toes. Contemporary details give the shoes a recognizable Heydude character, while the wearing comfort is characterized by a maximum barefoot feeling.
These brand values are also visible to retailers. In recent years, Heydude has experienced exorbitant growth not only on the internet but also in physical stores. The Netherlands was at the forefront.
It was therefore not a difficult decision for Crocs Inc., the new owner of Heydude since the beginning of the year, to choose Hooijer Footwear Group to support the various markets in which the company from Oldenzaal (Netherlands) is already active.
Hooijer Footwear Group
The Hooijer Footwear Group was already responsible for distributing Heydude for the Dutch market. This activity is now extended to a sales company and also to Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany and Austria. As an importer of Lazamani, Birkenstock, Toni Pons, Keen and Sockwell, among others, the Hooijer Footwear Group has a good knowledge of the market and also has the (marketing) skills, commitment and logistical means to take over distribution.
Purchasing Agreements Spring/Summer 2023 Collection
German and Austrian purchasing agreements are concluded directly through the customer advisors appointed for both countries.
Measure
Heydude will be represented by the Hooijer Footwear Group at various German trade fairs, including the Gallery Shoes in Düsseldorf. This international trade fair for shoes, bags and accessories will take place from 28th to 30th August 2022 in Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf.
