LBattle etiquette. Endless it is the acknowledgment of the work of the photographer from Palermo, who died a year ago, of her commitment to civil rights, of her ability to stand lucid and faithful witness to many events.
As the curator Paolo Falcone explains, the one on display is «a constellation of photos where love and pain, sweetness and drama, passion and commitment, tell moments of our history».
The itinerary offers around ninety large-format shots, covering the period from 1970 to 2020. News photos such as mafia murders, politics, private life, travel and the images created involving the patients of the Palermo psychiatric hospital.

The exhibition is hosted in two new, recently restored rooms in the Baths of Caracalla.

Mirror yourself on a screen
Almost True is an exhibition dedicated to the most recent works of the artist from Aosta Sarah Ledda. Each painting of her “reflects one of the many incarnations of the feminine in our visual culture”, taking its cue from the images that TV and cinema send us back.

Recite in the moonlight
The open-air theater festival is underway in the most beautiful residences and parks in Brianza. Villas, historic parks and farmhouses in the area are the natural stage for the theater of The last moon of summer.

The 2023 edition has “deviance and diversity” as its common thread and is opened by A bes. Antonio Ligabue with Mario Perrotta (Ubu Award 2013 as best actor). I, Vincent Van Goghby and with Corrado D’Elia (29) is the painter’s story-flow-of-memories-emotions.
Peppe Servillo, accompanied by the guitar of Cristiano Califano, reads (September 3) passages from The rest of the week, novel by Maurizio De Giovanni. Musical moments are also scheduled literary walks on the paths of the park.

100 years of portraiture
About sixty works by Italian artists are collected in Faces. Italian portrait painting in the 20th century. A genre that has evolved while maintaining a decisive importance in the artistic panorama.
The exhibition is divided into two places, Spazio Circolo in Bellano (Lecco) and the splendid Villa del Balbianello in Tremezzina (Como), one of the most evocative residences on the Lario, today a Fai property.
