Seven Wednesdays, the Hague artist Bruno van den Elshout walks for eight hours across an intersection in the Hofstad. He is preparing for the most extensive art project of his life: A walk around the block. This consists of 1,440 radio interviews with residents of The Hague over ten years. “Some people notice that I always walk the same lap. People ask: ‘Are you all right, sir?’ I find that quite funny,” says Van den Elshout.
